Anime Overload Crystal Farming Guide

The AFK Chamber is your single best source of Crystal Shards. It works entirely passively — you place your heroes, leave the game running (or stay logged in), and collect resources over time. Over a 10-hour session, you can expect roughly 5,000 Crystal Shards plus Tokens.

The key is to keep it running as close to 24/7 as possible. If you can leave Roblox open while you sleep or during work hours, you are effectively generating 12,000+ Crystals per day without lifting a finger. This is the foundation of any serious Crystal farming strategy.

Every Act in Story Mode awards Crystal Shards on first completion. With three regions currently available (Ninja Leaf, Marine Fortress, and Ice Marine Fortress) and 7 Acts per region, that is 21 one-time Crystal payouts. Region 1 Act 1 alone gives you a Crystal Shard plus a Ramen (Legendary EXP item), and Act 2 gives another Crystal Shard plus Meat.

While these are one-time rewards, they add up significantly for new players. Prioritize clearing as many acts as you can early on. Each region also awards 1.0M Yen per act (Regions 1–2), which helps with hero upgrades. See our full Story Mode Guide for act-by-act breakdowns.

Redeem codes are the easiest Crystal Shards you will ever get. The code Sorry4Delay alone gives 5,000 Crystal Shards — that is 100 summons for free. Other active codes also award Crystal Shards in varying amounts.

The catch is that codes expire without warning. Bookmark our Codes page and check it every few days. When a new code drops, redeem it immediately. There is no reason to wait — Crystals earned from codes are identical to Crystals earned anywhere else.

New codes typically appear during major updates, player-count milestones, and as compensation for server issues. Following the official Discord and social media accounts helps you catch them the moment they go live.

Completing raids earns Raid Coins, which can be exchanged for Crystal Shards in the Raid Shop at a rate of 1,250 Raid Coins per Crystal Shard. Raids also drop direct Crystal rewards upon boss defeat.

If you are already running raids for hero upgrade materials and Clover items, the Crystal Shards are a nice bonus. However, raids require active play and a strong team, so the crystals-per-minute ratio is lower than AFK Chamber. Still, if you enjoy the boss-fight gameplay, raids are a solid secondary source. Daily quests and special event quests award Crystal Shards as part of their reward pool. While individual quest payouts are modest compared to AFK farming, they add up over time — especially if you are already completing them for other materials.

Make it a habit to check your quest board every session. Many quests align with activities you are already doing (summoning, upgrading heroes, completing stages), so you earn Crystals without going out of your way. The consistency of daily quest completion over weeks and months creates a substantial Crystal reserve.

The Battle Pass includes Crystal Shards at multiple tier milestones. Both the free track and the premium track contain Crystal rewards. If you are already progressing through the Battle Pass naturally (which you should be), these Crystals come with zero extra effort.

The premium Battle Pass track typically offers significantly more Crystals than the free track. Whether the Robux investment is worth it depends on how actively you play — if you can hit the higher tiers, the Crystal value alone can justify the cost.
