What Do Mounts Do?

Mounts serve two purposes in Anime Overload:

  • Faster hub movement -- Mounts increase your movement speed in the lobby and exploration areas. This is useful for quickly navigating between NPCs, shops, the summoning portal, and game mode entrances.
  • Cosmetic expression -- Each mount has a unique visual design. Other players can see your mount in the lobby.
Important: Mounts are purely for movement and cosmetics. They provide no combat stats, no damage bonuses, and no advantages in any game mode.

Confirmed Mount Types

Motorcycle

A ground mount used for traversing the hub area. Visual variants exist with different designs.

Mech Wings

Mechanical wing attachments that let your character glide across the hub. Visually distinct from ground mounts with animated effects.

More mount types and details are expected to be revealed as the game exits early access. This section will be updated when additional mounts are officially confirmed. In the meantime, redeem all active codes to stock up on free resources.

Should You Care About Mounts?

Mounts are a nice-to-have, not a need-to-have. The lobby is not large enough for the speed difference to matter significantly. If you enjoy collecting cosmetics and showing off in the lobby, mounts are a fun system. If you are purely focused on hero building and combat, check our Tier List and Beginner Guide instead — you can safely ignore mounts entirely without missing anything meaningful.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do mounts give any combat advantage in Anime Overload?

No. Mounts are purely for lobby and hub movement. They provide no stat bonuses, damage boosts, or combat abilities. You cannot use mounts during Story Mode, Raids, or any combat encounter.

Can I use mounts in combat or during raids?

No. Mounts are automatically dismounted when you enter any combat zone or game mode. They only function in the main lobby and exploration areas. This keeps combat balanced regardless of mount ownership.
