Frequently Asked Questions
What is pity in Anime Overload?
Pity is a guaranteed drop system. After a certain number of pulls without receiving a hero of that rarity, the game guarantees you one. For example, after 150 pulls without a Mythic, you are guaranteed a Mythic hero on your next pull.
How many Crystals do I need for a Secret hero?
To guarantee a Secret hero through pity, you need 400,000 Crystals (8,000 pulls × 50 Crystals per pull). You may get one earlier through luck, but pity is the worst-case scenario.
Does pity carry over between banners?
This hasn't been confirmed yet. The developers have not officially stated whether pity progress carries over when a new banner is released. We will update this answer once confirmed.
What's the fastest way to get Crystals?
The fastest methods are: AFK Chamber (generates ~5,000 Crystals per 10 hours), completing Story mode chapters, and redeeming codes. Check our Codes page for free Crystals.
Should I save for Secret or pull for Mythic?
Mythic is 53× cheaper to guarantee (7,500 vs 400,000 Crystals). Unless you are a long-term player with resources saved up, pulling for Mythic heroes offers much better value. Secret heroes are stronger, but the investment is massive.
